Innovative furniture with intelligent hardware technology from Häfele

The 2009 living trend is shaped by the desire to eliminate the traditional separation of bed and bathrooms, work spaces, eating and living areas. As a result, individual rooms are more spacious, but less space is available to accomdate storage areas.
At this year's Interzum Häfele solved this challenge with innovative concepts and the creative use of rooms and furniture designed specifically for a variety of target groups. For kitchen and living spaces for instance, unique solutions were presented for Singles, Families and even Best Agers.
Häfele presented an unprecedented array of ideas and new products. Two expamples of especially creative and new ideas were the Hidden Bed and the Mobilius linear sliding system. The Hidden Bed turns a fully functional work space and desk into a comfortable bed at night. And thanks to the clever hardware technology there is no need to tidy up first. And Mobilius allows complete furniture pieces to be moved with ease allowing rooms to be used more effectively.
